The upcoming match is against Elche at home in the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium in the Match day 27. The last Real Madrid game was against Atletico which was a very poor game from the start but last 30 minutes were good, and was hard fought draw with a daylight robbery by the referee Hernandez Hernandez. .

The team rating for the match against Altetico can be found here: Team Rating

Right now Real are recovering some of the players but need to win at any cost to remain in the league.

Squad Updates:

This will be the Thirty sixth game of the season and Real have been really poor in their games and results, they have had 20 wins, 7 Draws and 8 losses. In the last several games the performance has become poor especially in attack and with this ailing squad things are getting complicated as injuries are reoccurring.

Elche is a descent side and are strong in the defense, so Real will need to be careful in all departments and be ready for their counters.

In the goal Courtois will start, he has been in a good form. He has supported the defense really well but has not received the same from the team and more so with so many injuries in the defense.

Mendy should start on the left. As Ramos is out after surgery and Militao is back. Nacho should get the nod ahead of all and Varane will start as the center backs. Carvajal is out again so Lucas Vazquez should fill in. So Mendy, Nacho, Varane and Lucas Vazquez should start. Marcelo and Militao should be available as substitutes.

Modric has been slow for last 5 games but control the game well on most occasions and with Kroos playing well both should start. So, Kroos, Casemiro and Modric should start. Isco, Arribas, Valverde and Blanco should start from the bench.

The forwards have been poor all season, they have been wasting too many chances in front of the goal.  Hazard is out and Vinicius should start on the left. With Rodrygo playing well, he should get his chance ahead of Asensio. And Benzema should start upfront. There is a high chance that Asensio gets a nod ahead and Vinicius starts as a substitute.

As there are 5 substitutions available, ZZ should think for more rotations in the second half especially taking into consideration the team's fatigue and injuries for the next game's importance.

The probable substitutions will be:

Vinicius > Asensio
Modric > Valverde
Benzema > Hugo Duro
Rodrygo > Hazard
Kroos > Isco

So the formation would be 4 3 3.

The most probable kit to be used for the game will be the home kit!!!

So the final starting 11 will be:

Real Betis Vs Real Madrid: The Starting 11

Before going into the next match I will rate the performance of players in the last game vs Barcelona in the El Clasico. Benzema: 5/10, Poor game that has very less involvement, only misses and bad finishes, final third game play was better than previous game but still not up to the mark. Vinicius: 9/10, Became the youngest to score in the El Clasico, had several good plays. The early yellow could have made him a little cautious but played his heart out and recovered 3-4 balls for the team. Isco: 8.5/10, Good game and a few good runs, a great shot at goal which was stopped by the keeper. He was good in distribution as well, could have taken a few more chances but was a bit of communication problem with Marcelo. Kroos: 8/10, Seemed the one to orchestrate the game. Great assist in the first goal and maintained composure throughout the game, even under pressure, coordinated well with attack and defence really well.  Casemiro: 8.5/10, What a game! With an assist or goal he would...
