Squad Updates:

This will be the third game of the Champions league season and Real had one good performance after few poor performances just before this match. Forwards are still mis-firing but managed to score a few, defence seems to have recovered from the disarray, and mid field is now looking better. This game is very important and would decide the chances of progressing to next round. Madrid will have to win this at any cost.

Inter is a well balanced side and has a good attack and their counters are good too. So, Real will have to be very careful in attack and defence.

In the goal Courtois will start, he has been allowing few goals in the last few games even though his form has been good.

Mendy has to start on the left as Marcelo has been pathetic. On the right it will be Odriozola if he recovers, if not Lucas Vazquez will start. If his muscular injury still causes problem Militao will start due to lack of the regular right backs.  Ramos and Varane will start as the center backs, there is no doubt in it. So Mendy, Ramos, Varane and Lucas Vazquez should start. Defence has been in shambles after the international break but the signs of improvement are now visible.

Modric has been good but with his 90 mins in the last game he should be seen as a substitute in the coming game. Kroos and Casemiro are a must. Casemiro will be required for his defensive duties, but he needs to up his game as well. Valverde, Casemiro and Kroos will start. And Modric, Ødegaard
and Isco should start from the bench.

The forwards have been mis-firing, Benzema and Vinicius have recovered their forms a bit. But with the return of Hazard he should start again. With the lack of options it will be Asensio on the right, Hazard on the left and Benzema upfront. Jovic, Rodrygo, and Vinicius should start from the bench.

As there are 5 substitutions available, ZZ should think for more rotations in the second half.

The probable substitutions will be:

Hazard > Vinicius
Valverde > Modric
Asensio > Rodrygo
Kroos > Isco/Ødegaard
Benzema > Jovic, though it seems very unlikely

So the formation would be 4 3 3.

The most probable kit to be used for the game will be the third kit !!!

So the final starting 11 will be:
